How to log into Moodle

Your username in Moodle is the same as your username in Titan Cruiser.

Your initial password is your birth date. That is MMDDYY.

For instance, if you were born on October 2, 1980, then your password is 100280.

Moodle accounts for new students will be created the Friday before classes begin.

Are you a new student at GTCC for the Spring 2010 Semester, or new to using online resources for instruction? Then you should complete our eLearning Orientation.

This Orientation is online and available 24/7. You learn how to use our three primary online resources: Moodle, Pronto and Titan Cruiser.

Remember, Moodle is for all students, not just online students.

All students should set up their accounts on Pronto once they successfully log into Moodle.  This requires a quick, free download of this application to your home computer.

Pronto allows you to talk to your instructors and classmates instantly over the Internet for free.  Instead of waiting for your instructors to respond to an email, you can talk to them via Pronto.

Directions: Once you log into Moodle, click the owl icon on the right-hand side.  First, create and confirm your account.  Second, download the software to your computer.
